How to use a tracing sheet well
The three guidelines do the teaching: tall letters touch the top line, small letters sit under the dashed midline, and everything rests on the solid baseline. The first row is darker to trace directly; the fainter rows encourage copying with less support each time.
Keep sessions short — five focused minutes is plenty at ages 3 to 6 — and start with the letters of the child's own name, which is why the name mode comes first.
How do the guidelines work?
Top and bottom lines frame the letters, the dashed midline guides lowercase height — the classic school format.
Can I do any name?
Any name up to 14 characters — grab one sheet per child in the class.
