Flashcards that actually stick
Short, frequent rounds beat marathon sessions: five cards, twice a day. Put confidently-known cards in a "done" pile and shuffle the tricky ones back in — revisiting a card just as it's about to be forgotten is what makes it stick.
Print on card stock (160gsm+) if you can, or laminate a paper set for a class. The sight-word set follows the common Dolch high-frequency list that early readers meet everywhere.
